I was surf-blogging and found this fantastic studio Sarah Applebaum. Isn't she fantastic? This is really way out there love the color choices...yes its yarn...

I love this I saw it over at Coco Rose Textiles and she said it comes from this book. I am definitely going to have to get it!!

Ok when I saw this photo over at Crochet Concupscience I was mesmerized by the beauty of the idea. I mean it is a simple idea to web a crochet thread in a corne, but I just never thought it could look so beautiful.

Another "You Rock" Blog Feature

          This Week's Feature "You Rock" Blog

I visited a blog called "Simplfy" and she had decided to post about other blogs she enjoyed visiting instead of issuing out Awards...and I thought how great of an idea this was!!! I mean I am always hopping all over to visit blogs and looking for cool new ones [does anyone say "cool" anymore????] and this would be so nice to spread the ones I have found to my followers.
So "off and on" I will be posting a tribute to a blog I find interesting and want to share with all of you:

One of my online friends had this on her blog and I couldn't resist...

Parties and Yarn and Fun

We had a Rainbow Skein party and a Spring Fling T-shirt Deco Party with my stitching group. What fun...we all got together and wrapped yarn all different colors, each member brought 2 or more skeins we put them in the middle of the table and then wrapped whatever colors we wanted to whatever size of skein. Then we will make a project and bring it backed for a contest at our Halloween party this year...

The T-shirt deco party we got t-shirts for all and then I made up our Stich n' Chick logo iron-ons and everyone brought some "bling" and we all decorated our shirts...they came out so great!!!!

Our next get together we are having a Wine and Cheese and Chocolate Fondue party...yummmy!!! We have so much fun while we stitch away our projects... :)

Nothing Can Be Greener than Crochet in March!!!

I love Irish Crochet and this FREE pattern is a perfect, easy one to try... Look at how pretty the colors are and what a super gift this would make for any age mom, g-ma, or even gal with her own place....Now if I changed the colors to red and purple my Red Hat gals would love these too...or leave it pink and green and make some for family and friends. :)

Rainbow Skein Meeting and Piano Purse

I'm Working on a new project for my G-daughter it is a "Piano Purse" I got the pattern over at Skymagnas blog its a fairly easy pattern, she has some terrific patterns and I also got her computer wrist rest one too....although I have shortened the paino purse some to accommodate a 13 yr old. I am thinking of giving it to her in June for her 8th grade graduation. She go t akeyboard for Christmas and loves to play so this is perfect for her. :) I thought since I bead I would make her a necklace and bracelet set too. :) I think she will like that. :)

This was the results from our "Rainbow Skein" get together this last meeting. Remember I talked about it a few posts back, well we did it and yes it was a blast...What fun we had winding and winding the yarn, we all had different sizes and different colors. Now to decide what to make???? We decided that we would bring our finished projects to our Halloween party this October so I have a lot of time. :)

This is such a pretty cover for a stool...I have a couple of these and would like to cover them with these easy granny squares.
   This is a cute pattern too.. :)     These are floor pillows.

This is not crochet but I thought that this was a terrific way to keep your favorite books and make a conversation pice to boot...its a book bar...





Mrs Twins makes some beautiful crochet and this basket is just one of her finished projects... :)
