Some other granny square cute patterns include this adorable bag made by and I just love these squares you could make just about anything with them.. :) if you go to iamsusie her site there is a reference to this thread to make the bag, but since it is a Japanese design you will have to follow the chart..
Spring is threatening to appear, but our rain keeps coming back. I know that most of the country is covered in snow and ice, but here in the south of CA it is cooler but just more wet than usual. I found this unusual idea of making fancy weiners on the web.. I thought it would be a great bar bee in the summer for a kids party...its really simple to make, just take some hard spagetti and then push it into the hot dog and then bioil it for about 5 minutes. that's it.... :)
Since it is almost Easter already...WOW....I thought a tip on making Easter eggs over at Family Fun Crafts would be fun to do...so after searching I found these cool eggs that are easy and made with yarn... my favorite project material... :) All you'll need is: Materials 
I truely love the colors of the trees in California. These trees are called Jacaranda trees.They always amaze me. This scene is right up the street from me. We have trees with pink and white flowers on them in front of our house...I took the other photo of a tree in EL Dorado park that I thought was unique...the tree trunk at the bottom of the post was so cool looking I just had to take a shot of it too...now, for my yarns, I know it is not much to do with crochet but I just had to share...I am getting over yet
