Hubby bought me a dress while in Big Bear

I finished my beret hat and decided to make it a big floppy hat

I like how it ripples and hangs

the lilacs across the street were all a bloom

uh oh time to paint again

our stone pathway. Hubby said it was cause the rocks held water

my son cleared out the tree in the back boy were the weeds high

1st time for a Memorial Day weekend

The Busy Holiday Season

I have been busyt wrapping, getting last minute gifts, and making gifts along with parties and boat rides, baking cookies and bread, and just plain having fun!!! I do so love the holiday season!!!

I wanted my followers to enjoy it too... so Enjoy!!

REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME GALS:

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.

Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known....

Only women would be able to drag a fat-man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost!

Down with the Decorations

Another Christmas here and gone! Wow....all those decorations are down and finally put away. I collect MM memorbilia and have several on the tree ....so they must be packed with extra care..I just got my DH to put the outside stufff away and also put the boxes in the garage that I finally got all filled. Phew.....IT is amazing how much one accumilates for the holidays and then after we go out and purchase more on sale!!!

I was good and only got cookin bins for the kids for next year and a huge stocking to fill with goodies for one of my groups gifts...

I swept and cleaned my little bum off....I don't know about everyone else but I think I gained 5 lbs over the holidays... :( boo

This one is a pic of DH and I from the mid 90s in a gold heart...see a lot of the Avon in the background and I also have all the McDonalds ones they gave out in the 80s, I always give McDonalds gift certificates in my kids and g-kids stockings, its a tradition.. :) Along with a new ornament each year personalized...  Foxy got in on the act too....

Remember this bag?? I have to finish this one so it is on my WIP lists to do....

My Dachshund Doggy

I was in this swap for "Doghouse" in "All Around the House" over on Yahoo. And my partner. "M" has a Dachshund, so I thought I would design one for her. I just kind of designed it as I went along... I am so pleased at how cute it turned out that I think I may design other breeds as well... I used both felt and crochet....it even has eyelashes and a bell, with 2 charms that say "best" on one and "friend" on the other...details....Isn't it the cutest?
