What Did you Post 4 Years Ago????

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crochet Hand Puppet Scarf Ok I may have shown this before but it is just too cute not to show again, :)
free pattern too....I mean has any of us forgotten what we posted last year? 2 years ago? What about 4 years ago???

I think we should all go back and find a post from 3-4 years ago and "re-post it" after all we probably have lots of new "online" friends that have never seen it!

So here is my "re-post" from May 2009:

I had made this little tea bag cover for my neice, hmm time to make again....I even wrote "tea" in beads see it in the tag...

ohhh May 12, 2009  one of my favorite projects. I made a Chelsea cat from a photograph...it was a challenge..I still have to write up the pattern on this one. I have it in my notebook just haven't made it in pattern selling form.

I remember [Feb 2009] when I made this silly "Katamari" magnetic ball

And last year at this time
I had a few green projects like this green rug

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Had to sneak in this beautiful granny square afghan with the sweetest frilly edging, doesn't
just make the afghan the best?
See it over on Coco Rose Diaries blog....

That's all for today.................

Swaps, Pen Pals, and Ebay Buys

Isn't this tea set the cutest? I got this from DaBookLadys BABEs March "true story" book and bookmark swap, along with a "Marilyn Monroe" book to add to my collection of memorabilia of MM stuff....I also got a whole box of stitckers that I can always use when I mail my pen pal letters.

Speaking of which look at the cute things my Canadian pen pal, Sharon, sent me for my "B" day coming up here real soon!!! A key chain, pen, and a Cancada hat pin. And I got the patterns I ordered on Ebay, cute cute animals in crochet and she also included a fun plant hanger pattern and delicious recipe. If you enlarge this picture you will see all the animals I can make from the booklets.

Now this next photo is what I got from my Fat 1/4 Swap bot partner for the month of March. I cannot say enough as she really outdid herself and sent me some wonderful items, All that is required to send is 4 Fat Quarters, green thread, something green, and a notebook, but I got tea, candy, ribbon, beads, sequins, suckers, bath stuff, a cute green tub container, a wonderful collection pack of green stationery, and clothespin clips..She spoiled me good!!!

New Projects I have Finisihed

Ok look at how warm it is here today!!! WOW......I cannot believe the weather change..but I love it...

I have been crocheting some of my WIP projects...here are a few of my finished projects that I have been working on. A frog tissue case in worsted weight yarn, a frog scrubber, a cookie[Orio] a coaster, tea bag holder, and 2 napkin rings for my dining room swap, and here is a sneek preview of my new creatures that I am designing, that will be for sale in my Etsy store and on my site. They are called Amigurumi which means “knitted or crocheted doll” in Japanese. They're the simplest of simple, usually worked in a round of single crochet. you can join your rounds or not join them that is your choice. Just work in a spiral. The thing that is the greatest about amigurumi is that it all depends on your imagination as to how the end result will turn out. And as you can see mine has turned into quite a creation. There's no rules no fancy stitches, so anyone can make them, and the fun comes in the shapes you make, the colors you decide on and what other glorious add ons you want to attach on to your creation. So take a look at "Bottlelands" 1st resident, the "Queenie Lady B" she is not completely finished, but as you can see she is coming along. If you enlarge the picture you will see her pretty eyelashes... :)
