I designed this lavender hat. It has a pillbox look with a gathered back and some bling on the side, I changed the bling a bit and added a bow behind it. I am going to use the fabric to make a "puff" insert so that it will sit higher on my head. :) I couldn't make up my mind which one to use so I am using one design on one side and the other on the flip side. :) I love the whimsical turtles...I will be writing up the pattern soon.
This foot stool turned out pretty cool I think. I made a granny square changing colors, added some black and white, and then a ruffle on each side, sewed on some black fringe, added several glass beads, fish and cats [Asian design] for the woeight to hold it down. I love the finished one it shows less of the foot stool under it than you see in the photos. I added a little felt and button on the side too.. that's my ""
Blooming Flower Pillow" on the rocker. :)
Some of my plant covers over chicken cans I got the idea from Attic24 and then I added a ladybug and some flowers and stitched some stems and grass.
