Projects and Things
I have been sick with a sinus infection which has left me down and housebound, actually other than the tiredness and nose running, it gave me lots of time to work on some of my projects. This is foxy's Halloween costume, she is a "Bee"...I am not too pleased in the style of the hat...but it works...she is not too happy with it either.. :) I finished my "Monster" Halloween guy, I think he is really cute...I made him a little different than the pattern, adding my own little touches..:)I got the pattern from, then I worked on the bride and groom Frankenstein from Vicky Howe and , I also completed the cutest Ghost "Boo" trio, designed by Beverly Mewhoter still have to add their eyes... ........along with my hat for my costume. I am going to be a "Little House on the Praire" mom....carrying a basket of flowers.. :) The dress is coming along too..... now I want to start making some Christmas decorations and presents...the Candy Corn bag, from Lion Brand, still needs to be felted, this is it before felting......and this little kitty candy basket I made last year.. :) Crochet Today has some great designs this month and I also have a "Holiday Door Hanger" book from Annies Attic that has some more designs I may make yet, Have you seen Lion Brands Halloween cuties, candy and lollipops...great ones for the table.. :) Plus Purple Kitty has a cute bag I would like to make and maybe make it with a Christmas design too????

Crafting Fun
Christmas is right around the corner and here are some wonderful gifts to make friends and family that can save you some $$$....
I was blog hopping and found this wonderful "instructable" site and it had a step by step instruction for making a pencil or change bag from any potato chip bag. How cute is that?
Then I found a wonderful paper bead "tutorial"
I also love tea bag folding...
This jewelry was made with plastic bags. Wow!! Now I can really get into this...

My Dachshund Doggy
I was in this swap for "Doghouse" in "All Around the House" over on Yahoo. And my partner. "M" has a Dachshund, so I thought I would design one for her. I just kind of designed it as I went along... I am so pleased at how cute it turned out that I think I may design other breeds as well... I used both felt and crochet....it even has eyelashes and a bell, with 2 charms that say "best" on one and "friend" on the other...details....Isn't it the cutest?
